General information

Which size Goldendoodle is right for you?

Standard Goldendoodles can stand anywhere between 22 and 27 inches at the shoulder, resulting from the crossbreeding of a standard Poodle and a retriever. Known for their easygoing personalities, these larger dogs thrive in homes with ample space to roam, ideally with access to a garden.

Medium Goldendoodles range from 17 to 21 inches in height. They are often bred from a combination of miniature and standard Poodles or from multigenerational Goldendoodles. They are highly adaptable and can thrive in both urban and rural environments.

Mini Goldendoodles generally stand between 13 and 16 inches at the shoulder. They typically result from crossing a miniature or toy Poodle with a retriever or from subsequent generations involving miniature and sometimes toy Poodles. Their compact size makes them particularly versatile, allowing them to flourish in smaller homes. However, they still require regular daily exercise, including off-leash time.

I breed standard and mini/ medium Goldendoodles, along with the occasional standard or moyen Poodle. Availability varies each year, but I’m always happy to add interested individuals to a contact list. You will be notified when new litters are planned. Additionally, I maintain an active Facebook page as well as WhatsApp groups, which are easy to join or leave at any time.

Goldendoodles vary a lot in colour, coat type and size. Obviously, as the result of cross breeding, there is no 'standard' as there would be with a pure bred dog. Not all the dogs pictured here are Sweet Pea Doodle dogs but are examples of the type of dog I breed.
